New Product ZAMRAIL
The SUNLOCK team are excited to bring ZAMRAIL to market, as the most competitive, cost effective commercial rail on the market. Incorporating the latest in chemical coating technology, along with Sunlock’s innovative channel design, this new product is the new alternative to the traditional Sunlock channel.
The ZAMRAIL coating incorporates magnesium (3%) with a combination of zinc and aluminium (6%), providing greater corrosion resistance and self-healing properties.
When the Zinc, Aluminium, Magnesium coating is applied to the ZAMRAIL, it complies with Type ZM coating requirements of AS1397:2011. The Type ZM coating meets high corrosive resistant standards, maintains galvanic pro- tection and is scratch resistant.

The SAM coating increases the durability and tolerance of the product which guarantees a longer lifespan. It is also light- weight and provides a superior corrosive resistant surface in comparison to other traditional corrosion resistant steel products.

The clean, satin-like finish of the ZAM combination coating creates an appealing finish. It can be painted, welded and touched up using zinc-rich paint without damaging the coating properties.

The ZAMRAIL coating is not resistant to bimetallic corrosion and should not be installed in conjunction with copper or where the is potential exposure to cop- per run-off.
